About Me

Hi! Thanks for stopping by. My name is Dan. I’m from a tiny town in Utah called Goshen, and after six years in Southern California, recently moved to Connecticut. I got my degree in animation from BYU, and have been working in visual effects and animation for the last 6+ years. Some of the projects I’ve worked on are Tangled, Lion King 3D, Hotel Transylvania, and The Incredible Hulk. I’m currently working on a movie called Epic.

I love drawing and animating, but I also love writing. My debut Young Adult novel, Oldsoul, came out in April of 2012. I’m represented by the awesome Kathleen Ortiz of New Leaf Literary, and am working on a Middle Grade fantasy novel for her. I love my family, comic books (especially Batman), cartoons, music, baseball, and lots of other stuff.  This is a place I can talk about random things, as well as some of my own projects.
